The Board of Directors oversee the governance of the credit union. Key responsibilities include hiring and managing the President/CEO; approving the strategic plan; and ensuring the safety and soundness of the credit union. In order to fulfill the governance function, the Board utilizes committees focused on key areas of operations and financial management. For example, the supervisory committee oversees the internal and external audit functions to ensure the soundness of the credit union and the safety of member assets.
Board members serve as volunteers representing the member-owners. Board members must live or work in Brevard or Volusia County and be members of the credit union.
Call For Nominations
In accordance with the Credit Union bylaws, it is the duty of the Nominating Committee to nominate at least one individual for each vacancy on the Credit Union Board of Directors. Members on the Board of Directors serve on a volunteer basis.
For 2019, there are four vacancies to be filled on our Board of Directors. Those members in good standing who wish to be nominated should submit a resume via email to email@example.com by close of business on August 15, 2018. Those nominated may be required to attend an orientation.
