Courtesy Pay is a service that adds protection to your personal checking account in the event your account is overdrawn and funds are not available in Savings for the overdraft protection service. Courtesy Pay will cover checks and ACH transactions that will take eligible checking accounts negative.
Eligibility is based on:
- Primary Account owner age 21 or over
- Account opened more than 90 days
- Account in good standing
- Direct deposit
Eligible members will be allowed to overdraw their checking account up to an aggregate total that is based on the amount of the primary member’s direct deposit, not to exceed $800. Maximum of 10 Courtesy Pay overdraft advances per rolling 30-day month, and 120 Courtesy Pay overdraft advances per rolling year. There is no charge to sign up for Courtesy Pay and members who meet the eligibility requirements will automatically be enrolled. A NSF fee will apply for each item paid through Courtesy Pay. Please refer to the Fee Schedule for details.
